In the construction industry the idea of sustainability allowed the use of waste products from industries and agricultures to replace raw materials, such as fine and coarse aggregates, cement and fibrous materials. Hossein Mohammadhosseini has received his Master degree in Structural Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2014. Currently he is doing Ph.D in the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the UTM. He is the researcher in utilizing waste materials in concrete, and has introduced the concept of waste carpet fiber in concrete construction.
