The findings show the potential effects of the wastes generated at the construction site and how it could affect the beauty and safety of the environment. On the basis of the findings, possible measures for managing waste along the road corridor by all stakeholders were suggested in order to conserve the environment.

Salim Mohammed Sani has a BEng in Agricultural & Environmental Resources Engineering from University of Maiduguri, Nigeria and he is a postgraduate scholar at ABU Zaria, Nigeria.
