Recycling of all the bio-wastes generated within the IFS model and thereby reducing cost for purchase inputs, encouraging organic inputs, reducing release of GHG and improving the economic viability was the motive behind development of the model. The authors are hopeful that the book would be of immense help to the Scientist and Farmers in pursuing Integrated Farming System activities globally as a zero waste strategy and help in mitigating Global warming by reducing the release of GHG.
