The main aim of this research work is to achieve alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers and apply these nanofibers for waste water treatment. Alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers were applied for the removal of lead, cadmium, copper, zinc, nickel from 10 ppm of each model mixture solutions. Removal of lead, cadmium, copper, zinc and nickel in waste water and mercury from sea water was carried out with alumina and boron doped alumina nanofibers.

Prof. Dr. Myat Myat Thaw works for Chemistry Department at University of Yangon in Myanmar. She is Ph.D in Chemistry and did many research works. She has been dealing with nanomaterials in the field of environmental chemistry for more than 7 years. She has publications in her credit. She has already achieved for two scholarships in Germany.
