Wastewater has become a great concern over the last three decades world-wide. This was evidenced by the ever growing people`s worry about the present and future of the world. Such worry is; in particular, associated with the continuous enhancement and conferment effect of the environmental pollution which has very negative impact on distortion of the ecosystems. Wastewater treatment is a major problem around the world. Growing along with the population growth, industries create environmental problems and health hazards for the population. Hence, environmental concerns behoove scientists and engineers to develop materials and methods to lower the extent of pollution of the environment. This monograph summarizes some researches and development work that have been carried out by Dr. Amal A. Aly and her colleagues at the National Research Center in Egypt for flocculation which, is an essential phenomenon in domestic/ industrial wastewater treatment and mineral beneficiation, this should be useful for waste water of porcelain manufacture, phosphatic clay waste, dolomite-apatite system, smectite, illite, kaolinite, cement fluid, ceramic wastewater, and all textile industries.
