Every day we have to be willing and obedient to go higher as we study the Word of God. God's word is like a mirror that reveals what's inside of us. As we study it we begin to see ourselves as God sees us and begin to change into what we see in His word. The Christian transformation is vividly illustrated in the "metamorphosis" process that the beautiful butterfly goes through as it reaches maturity. The first stage is an egg or larvae. Then it begins to crawl around like a caterpillar and afterward begins to hang out as a chrysalis in preparation for flight. The final stage is a beautiful four-winged creature that will rise from the leaves and begin to soar above its' immediate environment. We don't see butterflies crawling around after they've reached maturity. They do what they were created to do - fly! We too should strive to get a greater hunger and be transformed to reach the destiny God created for us at conception. Dr. Roger C.
