The purpose of the research conducted on the evaluation of the "Impact of the drinking water and rural sanitation service improvement project on the beneficiary families in the community of Camata" is to determine the changes generated as a result of the intervention of the drinking water and rural sanitation service improvement project in the improvement of the conditions and quality of life of the user families in the community of Camata. The research method is explanatory and correlational, with a longitudinal quasi-experimental design, for which the difference-in-difference (DD) model has been designed. Results. The implementation of the rural sanitation project has made it possible to provide adequate basic drinking water and sewage services, reducing waterborne diseases and improving the living conditions of the population in the treatment group compared to the control group.
