Produktbeschreibung
In the Commune of "Forte Santa Rita" the water consumed comes from underground abstractions, possible technical failures and the lack of sanitation favor the contamination of water by coliforms. Assess the microbiological quality of the water consumed by the population of the "Forte Santa Rita" Commune, in order to facilitate future corrective and preventive actions. For this purpose, water samples were collected in the Centralidade 5 de Abril, neighborhoods, Valódia, Saidy Mingas, Mandume, Eucalyptus, Forte Santa Rita, Mamede and Kambongue, which were analyzed in the provincial water quality control laboratory in Huíla, where the membrane filter technique was used. The results of the 5 samples of public water collected showed that, in October, there was an absence of total and faecal coliforms in 3 samples, which corresponds to 60%, while in December, the samples collected reported absence of total and faecal coliforms in 100% of the samples, which demonstrates an improvement inthe quality of water for human consumption. In January, 100% of the water samples from the wells were positive for total and fecal coliform parameters.
