The concept of groundwater, its availability, distribution and occurrence especially in hard rock terrain(s) is an important aspect to be studied and understood for evolving an approach for sustained management of resources. Fluoride contamination in southern granulite terrain of Indian subcontinent is a prominent hydrological issue and hence there is always a demand for sustainable groundwater development and quality management in fluoride endemic province. A conceptual model of groundwater sanctuary creation has been addressed in this book.
