The author was born on 21st August, 1980 at Rourkela (Orissa). He completed B. Sc. Ag.(Honors) from OUA&T, Bhubaneswar in 2003; M.Sc. in Soil Science from G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar in 2006 on Irrigation Water Requirement of European dill (Anethum graveolens L.) under varying water table conditions.
