This book represents the common aspects of water quality, focusing on the general characteristics of domestic water. The study of water quality draws information from various disciplines including physical, chemical, and biological factors. The present study is a preliminary analysis of water from different Vimala College Campus water bodies. The selected water bodies are the primary source of drinking water for all students as well as teachers of the college. The effects of any pollution activities can often be minimized through proper management and early detection of problems through testing. This book employs only first-hand information about water quality and is well-suited as general introductory material for readers.
