It includes the design of a Water Distribution System, the design of Sewage Disposal System and the design of Storm Drainage System. The book uses a holistic approach and guides the reader through a step by step process, from developing essential background knowledge to the design of complex hydraulic infrastructure. Each type of hydraulic system is considered separately in this text. To develop an insightful case study, designing has been carried out through all three methods, i-e by Manual Calculations, by Spreadsheets and with the help of complete designs using powerful software tools. It also contains the pertinent design standards(Pakistan-Standards) to act as a reference for future projects. This work was developed to act as a comprehensive design guide and to help Planning Engineers to develop efficient infrastructure.

Zeeshan Virk is a civil engineer from National University of Science and Technology(NUST, Islamabad Pakistan). He specializes in Hydraulic Infrastructure Design, Water Resources Management and Geo-technical Engineering. His other researches include, Ground Water Modelling for foundations and water quality assessments of aquifer recharge systems.
