Susane Lavallais Boykins has a B. S. degree in Accounting and Teacher Certification in Business Courses from Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She has worked in the telecommunications industry, sold real estate, taught high school and owned small businesses. The mother of three children and five grandchildren, she is an avid genealogist. She lives with her fur baby, a poodle named Gail, in Texas. She is currently working on her next novel.
