I discover myself in nature, dedicate my life to saving civilization and the natural world, and express this journey in poetry. WAYMARKS is my third collection, and lets me share ayahuasca retreats with Peruvian shamans, working in Beijing with Chinese Supreme Court judges, and the clarity of Alaskan wilderness lakes. Moments of discovery are pared down, nature is participatory, and what the poems aim to transmit is wonder. What they hope to co-create with the reader is the open space of self-awareness where resilience lies.
