The author examines the issue of teaching vocabulary to maritime students. Autorenporträt
M.A. Philol. Olga Romanova is Lecturer of Translation and Interpreting Programme at Baltic International Academy (Latvia). Her academic interests lie in the spheres of applied linguistics, ELT, ESP and translation studies. From 2004 to 2009, she worked at Latvian Maritime Academy teaching Maritime English, where the present research was conducted.
