Communicating is tougher than ever. Our relationships are suffering. We are losing our ability to relate and interact with each other. Despite our advances in technology, people feel lonely and disconnected. The Internet has further enabled bullying. And how our leaders communicate-in business, politics, and entertainment-often makes matters worse. Schools get caught up in standardized tests that fail to teach interpersonal skills. Brett Keirstead, a thirty-year sales professional, wants to do something about it. We Are All Sales, People teaches five key steps in sales that anyone can adapt to dramatically improve the quality of their communication and relationships at home, at school, and at work. You'll learn how to know yourself, sincerely understand others, focus on positive outcomes, negotiate, and "close the deal." Applying these five steps will transform the quality of your personal and professional life, while also making a difference for others.
Autorenporträt
With over thirty years achieving excellence in corporate sales and leadership, Brett Keirstead is a highly trained sales professional and mentor who has turned around under-performing sales teams, coached rising managers and executives to success, and worked alongside other C-suite executives to secure profitable, complex projects that drive revenue, lower costs, and lead to high company valuations. In his personal life, Brett is keenly aware of the importance of communication. His own birthfather was a natural-born salesman who left his mother and brother when Brett was young. Despite the gift of persuasion, his father never used his gift to benefit others. In contrast, Brett applies the sales and leadership skills he uses at work to improve his relationships at home as a husband and father of three. In his community, Brett has served as a youth sports coach for fifteen years and a Board member of the Burnsville Fire Soccer club for five years, seeing firsthand the challenges that come from the current lack of civility in our society. As a result, he is passionate about paying his experiences forward by showing others how to leverage the five key strategies of professional sales to help people improve their communication skills and interpersonal relationships at home, at school, and at work.
