Autorenporträt
Bekah (O'Brien) Dolezalová grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has known she would adopt her children since she was very young. At eleven or twelve years old, she remembers learning that not every child was with a family yet, and from that moment, she knew how she wanted to grow her family in the future: through adoption! So many years have passed, and the passion is still there, supported and informed by all of the stories of families she's had the honor of learning from along the way. Bekah and her husband, Radim, live in Prague where Bekah teaches kindergarten and Radim practices law. They are both cat people and their bookshelves are probably 90 percent children's books and table games. They like to hike and bike, watch movies, be aunt and uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews, spend time with family and friends, and pet all the dogs and cats they can find on their walks around the neighborhood.
