Autorenporträt
Sally Alter is a prolific writer who has had bipolar disorder for over fifty years. She is also a Registered Nurse. After writing over 4,000 answers on the popular question and answer website Quora - 800 on bipolar alone - she realized her knowledge, compiled and condensed into books, could really help people. Sally published her first book, "How to Live with Bipolar" at 73 and has gone on to publish two more books on bipolar - "Bipolar 1 Disorder Rescue Plan," and "37 Symptoms of Bipolar Depression." Helping people and their families and friends through the stress and strain of bipolar has become her mission. Sally is from London and now lives in Texas. She has traveled all over America in an RV and visited many European countries. When she is not writing, she can be found creating stunning oil paintings, doing colored pencil drawings, reading, completing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with Greta, her beloved cat. Sally hopes her writing will fill in the gaps left by other bipolar disorder books to help people live more fulfilling lives.
