This book is aimed at building up an application-driven thematic for the development of Web Mediated Robotic Actuation in real-time. The target of the book is invention vs. modeling of new protocols, tailor-made for the successful performance of the robotic systems through the World Wide Web. The book also focuses on several issues concerning development of intelligent databases, data mining, control of 'solo' & 'team' robots via sharing of information over the World Wide Web ~ all pertaining to robotic maneuvers. Glimpses of novel schematics and conceptual designs are included in last three chapters, with a hope that those designs will ignite new sparks to the new-generation researchers for marching ahead in the domain of Web-Robotics.

Born:1969;Gold Medalist in B.E.& M.Tech; Authored 345 papers, 2 books & 16 book-chapters on robotics. Dr. Roy joined Dept. of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India in 1999 post overseas research. Dr Roy received DAE Award for Excellence in Science & Technology in 2014,membership of DST, Govt of India & Lifetime Achievement award from Marquis in 2018.
