Autorenporträt
The authors are a father and son combination. The father, John H. Petrie, has published one article in a collector's magazine and wrote for 16 years as a HUD Multifamily Underwriter. He has written this and six other children's books as a form of relaxation. He was born in Logansport, IN, graduated from Logansport Community High School and from Illinois Benedictine College with a biology degree. In Dad's spare time he served with various philanthropic groups, coached baseball and has sung with the Indianapolis Arts and Symphonic Choirs. His son, John C. Petrie, was born in Indianapolis, and graduated from Guerin Catholic High School. He is a senior and 3 hours away from getting a degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. In his spare time he is a combat medic in the Indiana National Guard and hopes to attend OCS. He and his mother are cat lovers.
