Fahrudin Kucuk was born in Sarajevo in 1958. He has focused his writing on children's literature. All known literary forms are presented through this genre for children and young people. Fahrudin Kucuk is the president of the Association for the Promotion of culture FANI Sarajevo, which has produces several significant projects for children and young people , including puppet shows, children's theatre and the publication of several books, as well as the production of Children's Art Festival FEDU, which promotes childrens and youth creativity. He wrote many fiction novels for children and he has received many multiple awards in the field of children's literature.His books "Dark kingdom", "Weird guests" ,"Magical journey through the old town" and many others are compared to famous novels like " Lord of the Rings". Fahrudin Kucuk has been nominated for the prestigious Astrid Lindgren award for children's literature from Bosnia and Herzegovina for the third time this year.
