Lloyd Raleigh currently lives in the Southern Blue Ridge of North Carolina. His penchant for ecology and travel ferried him to various nations where he could witness, firsthand, the effects of climate change on the people he interacted with. The aftermath of 9/11, as well as the drastic impact of war, violence, and environmental breakdown he experienced during his travels, are major contributions to the production of his debut novel Welcome to the Free World. Through his work, he aims to entertain readers while also inspiring them to take charge of not just their lives but also the future of the planet they call home.
