Rose Cobden is a children's author and editor with ten years' experience working in publishing. She lives near Gatwick with her husband. A self-taught artist, Loretta Schauer lives in North London with her husband and pet hamster. She occasionally escapes to go galloping around the Heath, swimming in the ponds, or noodling for fossils. One day she hopes to live beside the seaside with a garden full of chickens and guinea pigs.
