Amanda de Andrade Costa is a nurse and holds a Master's degree in Health Sciences from the State University of Montes Claros. She currently works in epidemiological surveillance in the state of Minas Gerais. A supporter of humanising prenatal care, childbirth and the puerperium, she saw the need to improve the care provided to deaf women during the perinatal period.
