Taking its importance several efforts have been made to protect it at international as well as domestic level and courts too played important role in it protection. This book, therefore, analyse the meaning and concept of well-known trademarks, protection provided to it at international forum and in Indian Trademark Law along with leading cases of Supreme Court and high courts. It discusses various implications of recognition of well-known trademarks and suggests some measures to be exercise while recognising it. Ashutosh Kumar Singh, LL.B., LL.M. (IPR), pursuing his Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University in the field of Trademark. He has presented several papers in National and International Seminars and published articles on Trademark Law and Legal education.
