Wireline logs are the most reliable source of information for determining the presence of Oil and Gas. They are applied throughout the life of the well for various Geological, Geophysical, and Petro-Physical applications. as a part of my book, I had been given exposure on well log data Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation techniques, using Well Logging Software's. Integrated interpretation of well logging data can strongly reduce uncertainties in Formation Evaluation and in Reservoir Characterization studies. the objective of this work is to locate, define, and produce from a given reservoir that is "Formation Evaluation". in order to evaluate Lithology, Porosity, Hydrocarbon effect and Clay parameters by different logs are used to describe different properties. Effective uses of well logging data for formation evaluation requires high level of integration that can only be achieved by inter disciplinary team work and adequate knowledge and resource management.
