These reports make it apparent, that people are still killing each other for religious reasons: What is needed is enlightenment, information and dialog. This anthology focuses on the great religions of the world - Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism - and their relationship to Christianity. The authors offer us a qualified introduction to these religions and appeal for a dialog between all religions. Further, they attempt to remove our fears of contact with strange religions and cultures, making suggestions for a harmonious everyday coexistence between members of different beliefs.Tägliche Schreckensmeldungen über Kriege, Brutalität und Gewaltbereitschaft in vielen Ländern der Erde machen deutlich, daß Menschen sich heute noch (auch) aus religiösen Gründen gegenseitig töten.
