K. Ewing is a writer, editor, and artist who loves nature...especially the beach, and the creatures and plants who live on the shore and in the water. We're Going on a Crab Hunt is her first children's book. She wrote this book after a beach trip to North Carolina, during the very long car ride back to her home in the Midwestern region of the USA. This book is dedicated to her family, who have inspired and indulged her lifelong love of the beach.
