What do you do when monsters are coming? You get bigger, badder, better monsters to fight them. When people start going missing around the country's biggest cemetery, the werewolves learn that the banshees are preparing a war on humanity during the next full moon. It will take all of the werewolves to stop them. There's only one problem, though. Summer camp. If Max and Tim hope to help their pack defeat the evil banshees for good, they will need to sneak away from camp and find their way to New York without getting caught. Aided on their journey by their banshee friend, Keira, they discover a lot more than they bargained for, including a mysterious lone banshee in the wilderness, magical powers in a bowl of milk, a portal through the underworld, and the looming threat of the blood moon. Will they make it to the city in time to help the others? Or will the evil banshees form their army of the un-dead and finally take over the world?

Autorenporträt
N. A. Davenport is an author of exciting books for young readers. Her first series is a middle-grade werewolf-zombie adventure, Werewolf Max and the Midnight Zombies. She wrote these books when her own son was having trouble finding any that were easy to read and also interesting enough to keep his attention. Frustrated that the selection seemed so small, she decided to write some books for him herself. Books that were lightning-paced, wild, and dangerous. Books that would sink their teeth into a kid and not let go. Davenport lives with her husband, Bryan, her three children, and her dog and Cat, who are an endless source of inspiration and do their best to assist her whenever possible.
