Writer and teacher Maureen Oehler DuRant lives on the academy grounds and gives tours of West Point to some of the millions who visit each year. History enthusiast Peter E. Carroll is a lifelong resident of the area and a collector of West Point postcards, first published for tourists around 1898. Their collaboration, West Point, offers a portrait of the place, the people, and the stories that have made history.
