Illustrator Mark Muller has sketched and photographed the world from Alaska to Antarctica. He is coauthor of An Illustrated Guide to Iowa Prairie Plants (Iowa 1999) and author of Prairie in Your Pocket: A Guide to Plants of the Tallgrass Prairie (Iowa 2000) and Woodland in Your Pocket: A Guide to Common Woodland Plants of the Midwest (Iowa 2002). He is currently a freelance illustrator living on a farmstead near Iowa City.
