Autorenporträt
My name is Kim Delmar Cory and, by happenstance, I was born in 1954 which is the same year as the setting of this book. I am a retired educator who lives in Michigan with her husband, two dogs, Mackinac Lee and Murphy (AKA Monkey Butt), and a naughty cat named Thackery Binx. My two adult children and my grandchildren live within a reasonable journey from our home. Upon retirement, I am dedicated to the writing life along with feeding my dogs and cat per their preferences which are varied and often annoying. My husband feeds me so no problems there. My website, www.kdelmarcory.com displays my Mid Grade and Young Adult historical novels and keeps readers updated on my writing accomplishments and school visits. I hope you choose to visit me there. My ankle tattoo, Cacoethes Scribendi, translates as, 'insatiable urge to write' or 'bad habit of writing' from the original Latin. But you probably knew that, right? http://www.kdelmarcory.com
