Human rights are all the birth guarantees and basic freedoms that surround human life. For dignity and the guarantee of a life without discrimination. The latter includes: racism (prejudice based on color); religious intolerance; xenophobia (prejudice based on nationality); homophobia (gender and sexual orientation); political choice. They are a guarantee of universal values. The aim is to guarantee the minimum for human life to be dignified and respected in accordance with its freedoms. According to the United Nations (UN), human rights mean the guarantee of protection for people. This covers actions (or lack thereof) by the state that could jeopardize the dignity of human life. Basically, human rights are the right to free expression (opinion and religion), the right to basic health, education (literacy, above all) and decent work.
