Autorenporträt
After a long career as a freelance writer in advertising and marketing, Ramona Kelly forayed into documentary filmmaking--a calling that finally scratched her storytelling itch. She produced "When I Rise," a civil rights film that aired on the PBS series Independent Lens, and "Last Best Hope," a World War II saga broadcast on primetime PBS. Her career path eventually led to writer/producer Bill Wittliff and the Wittliff Collections, the acclaimed literary, film, music, and photo archive at Texas State University, where she served until her retirement in 2021. What Comes Next is Kelly's first book. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her rescue Lab Mandy.
