Kathleen Scudder is a dedicated and passionate professional with over two decades of experience in border security and federal law enforcement. Kathleen began her career with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1996 and held numerous leadership roles, including Associate Chief, US Border Patrol, and Division Chief for Law Enforcement Operations, retiring as a Senior Executive. She holds a Master's degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York. This memoir is her first published work. Kathleen has been married to the love of her life for over 26 years, has 4 children, 3 granddaughters and her beloved dog, Sandler. She enjoys being outside, bike riding, volunteering with animal rescues and spending time with her family and making people laugh, if she's not spending time alone recharging.
