Autorenporträt
Pierre Allan has been Professor of Political Science at the University of Geneva since 1984 and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences since 2001. Graduated in economic sciences in 1974 (prize "La Suisse") of the Ecole des hautes études commerciales (HEC) of the University of Lausanne ane, in 1975, graduated in Sociology of the Ecole des ssciences sociales et politiques of the University of Lausanne. In 1980, he obtained his PhD in Political Sciences at the Institut universitaires de hautes études internationales (IUHEI) of the University of Geneva. Alexis Keller is professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Geneva. He is a former fellow of the Carr Centre for Human Rights Policy at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. From 2002 to 2004, Dr. Keller participated actively in negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians that led to the Geneva Accord. In April 2003, he was appointed by the Swiss Foreign Minister to serve as special representative for the Middle East peace process. He held this post until January 2004.
