Shawnmica L Townsend was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio to the beloved parents of Betty Jane Townsend and Gregory Hines. She began writing in middle school, and it's something that stayed with her ever since. Her passion for writing grew stronger as she got older. Along the way, she became infatuated with writing poetry. It was then when she realized that she wanted to do something with her writing. This is the first completed book that she has written, but it will not be the last.
