Autorenporträt
Andrew McLauchlin started his career teaching physics before moving on to run an educational unit for young people with behaviour difficulties in school. He remained in this field and it continues to be an abiding interest. A few years ago, however, his interest in physics or strictly, cosmology, was rekindled by a fleeting thought-if time is infinite, anything that can happen must happen. Could that include our lives? Someone gave him a copy of A Brief History of Time 'which set him on a trail of discovery into the field of cosmology, leading to the possibilities-he believes the probabilities-described in this book.
