Denise Létienne has thirty-five years of experience as a hairstylist, salon owner, platform artist, and independent stylist. What Scissors Taught Me is her first book. She has her Red Seal Certification in Hairstyling, Adult and Vocational Teaching Certification, and a Bachelor of Education. When she's not behind the chair, you can find her reading, knitting, walking, practicing yoga, and writing. She lives in her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba with her wonderful husband.
