Autorenporträt
Tammy Kersey is a children's picture book author and founder of Tale Wagger Stories, the website that she hopes to grow and transform into an online inspirational resource for parents who seek to instill confidence and creativity in their children. Tammy's focus on the empowerment of children at an early age ironically grew out of a middle age experience with unemployment and the realization that she had not been taking charge of her own destiny. A very active five months of unemployed soul searching, educational exploration, article and story writing resulted in the revelation that she was free to write her own story, even at this later stage in her career. The idea was invigorating and empowering. She wanted to share it with others and chose the path of helping parents use storytime to build their children's confidence, teach them to question, share opinions and ultimately take control in shaping their own lives. Tammy has worked as a marketing professional for most of her career and has a degree in History from The College of William and Mary where she met her husband, Ian. They have two adult children, Emily and Andrew. The Tale Wagger Stories team includes two new rascally pups, Mosby and Dickens (of course), who work hard to provide a source of daily inspiration and joy.
