From Sydney to the outback, from Antarctica to tropical Kiribati, Dr Gillian Deakin's medical journey has been diverse. With a medical degree, and a Masters in Public Health from Sydney University, and an MD from Monash University, she has delved into understanding illness beyond conventional models. In 1991, she returned to her Bondi practice where she has honed her clinical expertise, while studying a wide range of health practices.
