Lisa Catanzarite earned a B.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Communications from Duquesne University. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Jeffrey, and their children, Jack, Ava, and Nora. Heidi Miller earned a B.S. in Art Education from Penn State University. Heidi taught elementary art education in Pittsburgh before becoming a freelance artist and illustrator. She lives with her husband, Brian, and their daughters, Abby and Paige.
