This book was born from a situation where a child was anxious about going to summer camp in the midst of a pandemic. The author, among others, was asked if he wanted to write and send an encouraging letter to this child at camp. It was out of this situation, that What You See At The Park came to life. Anyone can be anxious when facing the unknown but it is the author's prayer that thru this book you will see something new when facing these moments. This is a book with a message that children of all ages need today.

An actor himself, Jim Masterson finds joy in teaching acting to children and young adults. He is filled with endless creative ideas and encouragement that doled out compassionately even got his very reluctant wife to perform on stage once. Jim is an extrovert who enjoys public speaking as much as ordinary conversations with the stranger on the street. His writing career started out in theater writing, plays and skits, long before he began writing books. His voice and theatrical experience brings his characters to life for the reader in a way that is uniquely his own. Jim Masterson lives and writes in New Hampshire with his wife Susan and their faithful dog Ohana.
