Autorenporträt
Jessica Burokas has a passion for teaching her children about God's love for them, and raising them to know Jesus on a personal level. Jessica's debut children's book, "Whatever is Lovely" is based on her personal experiences with her daughter and their favorite part of the day together, bedtime stories and prayers! After becoming a Mom, she realized the great need for more Christian children's stories to help teach, foster, and grow the faith of her two beautiful children. Her hope and desire is that this book helps and encourages Christian parents everywhere to allow the Word of God to come alive and be relatable to even the youngest of children! I'm 53 and started working with arts 35 years ago, 6 of which in animation studios and 29 with illustrations for books. I used to love bedtime stories when I was a child. When I became a father my wife and I kept the tradition. As a result, our baby became an avid book reader. Thanks to that, his days In school were glorious. Now he is in a University studying Computer Codes. I enjoyed every single day working on these illustrations. The story reminded me that happiness could be found in everyday little activities. Those who invest in a family project know that. Thank You, Jessica, for choosing me for the illustrations! If you want to see more artworks, my Instagram is @victor_tavares_art
