Tate Lewis-Carroll (they/them), husband, chicken farmer, Starbucks barista, an internationally published poet with works translated into Arabic, serves as Poetry Editor for the Ocotillo Review and as an Editor for Kallisto Gaia Press. They've received an Honorable Mention for the 2022 James Tate International Chapbook Prize. They are the editor of the 2022 Texas Poetry Calendar anthology. Their work has been anthologized in Contemporary Surrealist and Magic Realist Poets (Lamar University Press) and also appears in Hotel Amerika, Frogpond, Modern Haiku, december magazine, and others. They live on a small farm in central Illinois with their photographer wife, Izzy, and miles in-between the nearest towns.
