This book arose from an interest in increasing contact with the English language teaching-learning process. We realized how easy it is for students to access social networks and various apps and we believe that including linguistic and phonetic practices in an app brings students closer to the educational process. The research presented here is qualitative and ethnographic in nature and aims to present the various possibilities of phonetic and linguistic interaction and the different ways of practicing the English language with the different textual genres used on WhatsApp. The work, from the field of applied linguistics, was based on studies of literacy, homogeneity and heterogeneity in language teaching and globalization and its influences on the world.
