The title of the book came to me in a vision and after a deep prayer, when I was dying due to a lifetime of abuse in 1993. It's based from my first remembered dream. An angel who wanted to learn how to fly, but couldn't. The dream stopped the night I heard the word hell. The story continues with the journey of a wee one's search for the mystery of why she couldn't fly. This is a true story about life of a wounded child who searched for truth and the clues for a normal and happy life. Although some terrible things are mentioned in this book, the intention is to help others who may similarly suffer with the effects of domestic violence. It's also to reveal the agonies of trying to understand a cruel world as a battered child faces. At thirty-six years of age, I discovered the truth about my life. The truth set me free to follow my Lord God Jesus and the way to joy, which is uncovered in the Bible. The fulfillment of the vision was a dozen purple roses, a biker, and a motorcycle ride under the misty moonlight, beginning on September 11, 2001. It's a story of the love of God for little children and lost souls. A story of struggles to hold on to faith in the midst of despair and when seemingly there's no way out, and then a way comes at the right moment. Always there's an amazingly perfect timing and help in a time of distress. The hope of this book is in sharing the faith it took to rise above the sorrows of that injured person to eventually fly like an eagle.
