Her words echo the uncertainty of her times and her experiences speak to this modern age of what the power of faith, love, perserverance, commitment, and unbridled patriotism can mean. Blanche and Al's journey is the sweet story of two young souls in love and caught up in the history of World War II as it triumphantly draws to a conclusion.
