Autorenporträt
Barbara Dougherty Gang is first and foremost a mother and a grandmother ... her most proud accomplishments. She is also an educator and has been teaching at public schools for over a decade with certifications to teach all core subjects (math, science, reading/language arts, and social studies from grades pre-k through 8th grades as well as English as a Second Language to emergent bilingual students. She has also coached many sports for over 25 years and believes that building relationships with her students has been the source to their successes. Her love for reading books to her own children as well as to the students in her classes over the years is evident; many students have reached out to her far after graduating high school and college to tell her they still remember the read aloud books they read to them.
