This book was inspired to help families who struggle with a child, and sometimes even a parent, growing an attachment to sleeping together in the same bed. It is a sweet bond, and although we may cherish every moment of it, most of us can agree it usually makes for a very uncomfortable night's sleep! It is my hope that this book helps little boys and girls want to sleep in their own beds so they too can make sleepy time a happy time for all.

Autorenporträt
Leah is a mom who cherishes her boys AND her sleep! She loved when her two-year-old son Alec wanted to cuddle with her at night; Leah could not get enough of his nighttime snuggles. After a while, like many parents, she built an attachment to having him next to her. Once the habit formed, it was difficult for both of them to break. Her husband was a champ about it, but ultimately said enough was enough. When Alec was five, they compromised and came up with a new routine. Each night, they would watch YouTube videos of The Ellen Show in Alec's room and laugh until it hurt. Eventually, Alec would drop off to sleep in his own bed. He is now eleven, and they still spend nights watching clips of The Ellen Show together as Alec falls asleep...in HIS bed!
